Almost a Year ago...

Almost a year ago I wrote my last post. Almost a year ago we were searching and hoping that the blue house on Hoen Ave. would be ours. Almost a year ago we got that blue house on Hoen Ave. So since my last post in which I showed you pictures of the front, back, and sides of the house we have moved into that house, gutted rooms in that house and made that house our home. We adore our first house, our little blue house. We camped in our backyard during the Summer with two little boys and a bunch of noise and dust always being stirred about. I think the boys started to wonder when it would all end. I did my best to remind them that this house would look wonderful once it was done and they would have their own rooms and a place to read and relax. Granted we aren't done (when is a house every done). Granted the master bathroom is ripped apart still. But we are all happy with our home. We laugh here, we cry here, we live here. Balls are constantly hitting the walls on the inside and balls are constantly hitting the windows on the outside. It's a good existence. So since the last post contains pictures I took before we even closed on this house, I will show some pictures of what the house looks like now.

 

Our bamboo floor had just been finished in these pictures. It really brightened up the whole house and made it feel bigger than it actually was. We've got a lot more living to do between these walls, and I have a feeling it's going to be good.
